Limo safety is the foundation of everything Moonlight Limo does. Our family and team work hard to ensure that everyone involved is taking the proper measures to provide a safe environment for every ride.
Moonlight Limousine service, operating legally as MIR LIMOUSINE SERVICE INC., is proud to share that we are fully insured, vetted, and compliant with the US Department of Transportation and the State of NJ to operate as a Limousine Service for passenger transportation. We encourage all current or potential customers to verify our compliance using the links below. We are registered with USDOT Number 3079195, Motor Carrier Number MC 65680.
Licensed and Vetted Chauffeurs
All of our chauffeurs are correctly licensed with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a Passenger Endorsement. Each driver is registered with the US DOT and carries a medical card renewed annually to ensure they are mentally and physically fit to operate limousine vehicles. Drivers are also regulated by the DOT and checked to verify proper license requirements. Each chauffeur is required to fill out a daily time sheet to ensure they are not exceeding the legal and safe limit for hours driving or working.
Vehicle Inspections and Maintenance
Our entire fleet is inspected annually (or semi-annually) by a third party to ensure all mechanical elements of every vehicle are in perfect condition. Along with annual inspections, US DOT regulations require that each vehicle is checked prior to every trip and tracked in a daily ledger kept in the vehicle at all times.
Please feel free to ask your chauffeur for the Daily Vehicle Inspection log and his Personal Time Log — he will be glad to provide both.
